This is Nürnberg and in the background is one of the great creations of Albert Speer, Hitler's chief architect. It was never finished but was supposed to be a roofed colosseum, only bigger.

In front of it is a ferris wheel, part of the "Folksfest" in Nürnberg. I find that kind of funny and ironic. ;-)
